For the past 3–4 services, I have clearly reported a front visor vibration/noise issue, which is a known and common problem in Activa 125. Despite repeatedly mentioning it, the issue has never been resolved. Every time, the staff casually says “it’s a minor issue” or “nothing can be done.” This time, instead of fixing it, they vaguely blamed it on the scooter being “damaged,” even though it has only had minor falls while standing, with no damage near the visor area at all. This felt more like an excuse than a genuine technical diagnosis.
During an earlier visit, their own mechanic suggested using double-sided tape to reduce the vibration. I brought the tape with me this time—but it wasn’t even used. When I asked about it, the response was dismissive.
Another uncomfortable experience during this service was related to engine oil. I brought my own Castrol engine oil (correct grade, sealed pack). I fully understand that if a customer brings their own part, the service centre may take written consent—and I signed the form without any issue. However, the supervisor’s tone while instructing his staff to make me sign the document felt sarcastic and unnecessary, as if the customer was doing something wrong, rather than simply exercising a choice.
The staff attitude and communication overall are poor. There is no proper supervisor who listens patiently or takes ownership of the problem. Issues are noted down, but nothing actually gets done. No one confirms whether the reported problem has been fixed. You’re simply told, “Your vehicle will be ready at 5:30.”
The customer handling process is frustrating and unprofessional:
No proper handover or explanation while collecting the vehicle
No checking or test confirmation
Just “go to this counter, then that counter, pay the bill and leave”
Even after washing the scooter, they don’t bother to properly blow-dry it. I could clearly see water left on the seat and body panels, which is unacceptable for a large, reputed service centre.
Another long-pending issue:
I’ve been asking for the original Activa 125 seat cover shown on Honda’s official website for over a year. The current seat cover is already badly damaged. Despite being a Honda-authorised showroom, they repeatedly say they only have the “normal Activa” seat cover and that the Activa 125-specific one is “not supplied to them.” A basic genuine accessory should not be this difficult to source.
Almost every visit, they claim to be overwhelmed with work. I’ve been asked multiple times to either leave the scooter for the next day or come very early in the morning. I’ve had to leave my work/college early just to accommodate their schedule, only to receive the scooter at 5:30 PM, close to closing time.
On top of this:
Parts and repairs feel overpriced compared to other Honda service centres
Mechanics appear slow and uninterested
No printed bill provided, citing “server down”
To be clear, I love my Activa 125. It’s one of the best scooters in its segment, and I maintain it properly. But servicing is something I can’t do myself—I come to a service centre expecting professional behaviour, clear communication, and basic respect, not excuses and sarcastic treatment.
I am done with this service centre and will not be visiting Radha Honda again.
Posting this so others can read and avoid unnecessary frustration and wasted time. Honda scooters deserve much better service than this.
